Dimitar Georgiev

Dimitar Georgiev is a program manager at IBM and co-founder of the IBM Sofia Accelerator. With over ten years of project management experience in S&P 500 companies and startup development. At IBM, Dimitar leads a global program aimed at increasing the skills and knowledge of teams in various technology services by applying state-of-the-art project management methodologies. Previously, he led various software testing, client success and project management teams in software development at IBM. Prior to his current role, Dimitar has experience at DXC Technology as a Business Analyst where he led process implementation projects and coordinated strategic planning for global banking and insurance clients. His academic contribution as a university lecturer in Germany highlights his interest and professional skills in the academic field, having taught project management and finance at three German universities in Berlin and Hamburg. In addition, Dimitar has significant experience as a project management manager at startups in India, where he successfully led testing and product development management projects.
