Jane Dimitrova

Jane Dimitrova graduated BA in Business and Economics at the University of Bologna and then MA in Startup Creation and Management at Sapienza in Rome. After about 5 years of living between Italy and Argentina, she came back home to create her first startup together with Velin Kerkov, WTO - Foodobox - which focuses on the problem of food waste.She is an inspiring example of how social causes and business can develop together and change the world.  

Foodobox is the largest platform in the country with the mission to reduce the waste of edible food. Through it, more than 500 restaurants sell their leftover food daily to end users who save it at the end of the day with at least 40% discount. The network includes restaurants, bakeries, pastry shops and supermarkets in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas and Bucharest.
