Nikolay Zheynov

Nikolay Zheynov was born and raised in Varna, where he graduated from the First Language High School with a German language profile. After completing his secondary education, he moved to Germany, where he graduated in Computational Linguistics in 2008 in Munich. That's also where he kicked off his career, working for various tech companies. 

After spending 11 years in Germany, Nikolay returned to Bulgaria in 2012. At that time, he, along with a friend, started his first business - a consulting company offering IT solutions to its clients. Shortly after, fate brought him together with Darin, and thus he became a Co-Founder of Ucha.se - a product company that is also the most successful educational platform in Bulgaria. 

For over 12 years, Ucha.se has been helping students learn in an understandable and engaging way through video lessons, tests, and mind maps. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit and supported by a passionate team of more than 300 people, four years ago, Nikolay and Darin began developing the educational platform еduboom, which now helps students across Romania, Spain, and Italy. The EdTech company is now the top employer in Bulgaria's education sector, with offices in Sofia, Varna, Ruse, and Plovdiv. Nikolay’s next goal is to prove that a Bulgarian-developed product can become a leading force in education in Europe, and why not in the whole world.
